Welcome to the Sounds of Fylm show, hosted by Professor Neil Fox from Falmouth University’s Sound/Image Cinema Lab. This episode is a preview of the autumn season’s first Nos Fylm screening event in association with Brewing Folk, an exclusive screening of the feature thriller GAME (2025) directed by John Minton and produced by Geoff Barrow (Invada Records/Portishead/BEAK>) who will both be at the Verdant Taproom on September 29th to discuss the film before a screening. Music in the show is an eclectic and associative collection of songs related to several of the film’s makers and their myriad various endeavours as artists - a well as a couple of tracks inspired by a certain film whose image carries this episode.
