Autumn One: GAME
0:00
Welcome to the Sounds of Fylm show, hosted by Professor Neil Fox from Falmouth University’s Sound/Image Cinema Lab. In this episode you will find the on-stage conversation recorded at the September 2026 event, Neil in conversation with Geoff Barrow [Portishead, BEAK>, Invada Records] and John Minton, discussing their debut feature film, GAME, which screened at the Taproom to a large and appreciative crowd.
Music in the show comes from some recent watching Neil has enjoyed, Jane Schoenbrun’s Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (2026), also a couple of tracks from a favourite film about music, from one of his favourite filmmakers, Mia Hansen-Løve’s Eden (2014)
Enjoy, and see you back at the Taproom on October 27th 2026, Kernow’s finest CinéBar, for a screening of short film work by staff at Falmouth University’s School of Film & Television.
